Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to for the music world, is an British musician and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994, and is the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where he created his own group of musicians with 3 schoolmates, which he called White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to take home in the Battle of Bands 2009. He was always interested in music. However, he wanted to become an attorney or a physical therapy. In the past, he was employed part-time in a bakery in the city he lived in with the aim of helping economically at home. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. His group was compelled to break up due to the fact that they were selected. The audition was held on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the group that was to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. The group sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which made them one of the top contenders for winning the competition. They were however in third behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
